about

Release date August 11, 2017 on Ride Records. Recorded at Club Ebony, Mississippi. Produced by Steve Azar & Aaron Bethune. Mixed by Mills Logan.

The title for the record, Down At The Liquor Store comes from Steve's times as a young boy hanging out behind his dad's liquor store (the first legal liquor store in Mississippi) with the likes of Eugene Powell. The store was in Greenville, MS just a ways down the road from Indianola, MS where Club Ebony can be found. It's the connection between Little Milton, BB King and so many that have inspired and personally touched and influenced everyone on this project.

A fusion of Blues, Country, R&B, Americana. It's Delta Soul.
